Match of the decade

These are some of the memorable matches of the decade:
1) Liverpool 3- 3 AC Milan ( Liverpool won on penalties)

The Scouse were down 3-0 at half time. Then somehow, they fought back by scoring three goals from Gerrard, Smicer and Alonso led to penalties with a miss and two saves from Dudek making them European champions.

2) Barcelona 2-0 Man. Utd

Billed as the dream final, Samuel Eto'o scored in 10 minutes, while Messi headed a goal to silence his critics to crown them European champions.

3)England 2-2 Greece

David Beckham scored a last minute free kick to put England into the World Cup finals.

4)Chelsea 4-4 Liverpool (Champions League quarter-final, April 2009)
All over after the first leg? I don't think so. Liverpool didn't either, despite the absence of Steven Gerrard, wiping out the two goal deficit to lead on away goals by the break, only for Chelsea to turn it on through Drogba, Alex and Lampard. Incredibly, Liverpool refused to die, going back in front on the night through Lucas and Kuyt and just one goal away from a remarkable feat before Lampard finally killed them off. Just amazing stuff

5) Germany 1-5 England (World Cup qualifier, September 2001)

Harry Redknapp's second game in charge of Spurs and what a stunner. Bentley scored from 45 yards but it looked like normal service being resumed when the Gunners were 4-2 up with a minute to go. Then Jenas curled home a beauty and in stoppage time Modric's deflected shot hit the post and Lennon stabbed home the rebound. Cue bedlam!

8)Manchester United vs. Real Madrid
4-3. That was the score, and Man. Utd was still eliminated from the Champions League. Ronaldo hat-trick sealed it for The Galacticos.

9) Portugal vs. Greece
One of the most biggest upsets in football history, Angelos Charisteas heads in off a corner to win Euro 2004 and watch Cristiano Ronaldo cry like a baby.

10) Chelsea vs. Barcelona
Drama. Controversy. Goals. It was all there. Michael Essien's wonderful strike dramatically cancelled out by Andres Iniesta's shot into the top corner gets them the chance of a treble. Followed by Drogba and co. shouting at Tom Henning Øverbø earning them bans.

Silverines vs Zon 5 : Match Report

The Silverines today were only represented by 5 guys xD namely : Syazmuie , Roberto , Saf , Jason and Malik. The match started with a 4v4 as Malik only came at 3pm , by the first half , Zon 5 took a 6-3 lead , the Silverines missed a few chances due to the pitch being slippery and even Muie slipped bout 10 times? xD and the arrival of Malik helped the Silverines step up their game as he contributed a hat-trick but unfortunately the game ended Silverines 9 - 15 Zon 5 , the Silverines goalscorers were : Jason with 4 goals , Malik with 3 , and Saf with 2.

Hey guys , just thought i update our readers on whats happening lately , so as you all know most of our players are having their SSSRU exams so no matches for now till after the 26th , not long lagi kn finish exams atu guys , so hows the exams so far eh? hope it's easy for y'all , bh so the match against Zon 5 might be reconsidered as i tried to make a booking at kebajikan but its full in every possible time xD so we either have to book a really later date or just change the location , more info after I discuss with the other players , and the SAS tournament , it's gonna be on the 29th -5th december , do try to make it , i know if some kn belayar , its okay but yg dpt it is most encouraged that you come ;P location sma schedulenya alum ditentukan xD so we'll have to wait for more info on that , bh atu sja bye!

Semifinal Results

After a truly exciting semifinals encounter , Silverines Deux have secured their passage to the final with a 2-1 win over Ivalice Dos , courtesy of their captain Aslin with 2 fantastic efforts ;D Ivalice Dos tried to make a comeback with one goal but proved too little too late



The Silverines Viends took on Ivalice Tres or more of a mixed Ivalice team xD and with a last minute arrival of Malik boosted morale and a combination of Jason and Malik produced the first goal which was scored by Malik then followed by a top corner goal from Jason which appeared to put the Viends in control , the Ivalices pulled a goal back before halftime and the Viends were cruising to victory before a last minute goal meant extra time came. the Ivalices took the advantage before Syakir appeared to have equalise with a goal from a corner and Syafiq Saini claimed his goal earlier on to end the game at 4-3.

Overall a wonderful perfomance by the Silverines , best of luck to Deux for the final and best of luck to us Viends for the 3rd place playoff :D Silverines Yeah!

1. kanyangkan parut before datang.
2. beria tah dulu before datang.
3. wear full jersey, don't forget your shin guard, just incase.
4. bagi salam arah semua urang islam yang datang.
5. during the game,no khalimuthu's allowed.
6. no fight-fight ah.
7. if ada urang tanya "are you okay?" jawab saja "no what-what(inda apa-apa)"
8. yang manang manang lah,yang kalah kalah.
9. yang kalah cuba next time,yang manang jangan ambung.
10. yang kalah jangan ucapkan yang manang "kaluk"

Silverines Viends Year 8 Cup Match Report.

Congratulations to Silverines Viends and Deux for going through to the semifinals of the Year 8 Cup!

Here are reports of the matches for Silverines Viends:

Group Stage, Year 8 Cup
Silverines Viends 1-0 Ivalice Tres

Jason Leong ( TSV#08) scored the only goal of the game to secure three points and a clean sheet for the Silverines Viends. It was a high tempo game. Nothing much in the first half. Syakir (TSV#10) substituted with Zainul (TSV#04) during half time. This proved fruitful when he combined with Jason to produce the winning goal. The goal was contreversial as a foul was thought to have been made on Fat Joe but the goal stood.

Group Stage, Year 8 Cup
Silverines Viends 2-0 Ivalice Uno

Captain Jason Leong (TSV #08) did it again as they beat one of the most intimadating teams, Ivalice Uno who has the likes of Dzul, Aisam ,Syafiq Adli and Farhan Amidon. In the first few minutes, Farhan Amidon was sent off for delibaretly touching the ball with his hand. This was the defining moment in the game.Viends took a defensive posture during the game. During half time, Zainul and Jason went out for Malik(TSV#07) and Syakir (TSV#10) which added an attacking force to the team. Syakir went out again for Jason who later put the first goal past Nicholas to score the first goal which sparked wild celebrations amongst the players. Listen up everyone!

Every captain of each teams have agreed to change a few things:

Each match consists of 5 mins per half (Total 10 mins per match)

Each teams will play twice and the opponents have been drawn tadi udah..

The semifinals and finals' time will be increased to 10 mins per half (Total 20)

Referee for the match will be Khalid Mahmud..

All rules will still apply except for this few ones..

Do make sure you make yourself free on that day , if it is completely 100% impossible for you to stay back nada kami paksa , but those yg dpt stayback please do ;P Bh this tournament has been somethin we all been looking forward and worked hard for.. but first jgnth focus 100% towards this for now , masih ada priksa ;P lpas MIB exam at 12:15 pm and 1 second baruth 100% focus ;D

YEAR 8 CUP 2009

Guys, we'll finally
have the Year 8
Cup!
It'll be held starting Saturday
afternoon until the next week.
We'll try to finish the cup as
quickly as usual since banyak yg
mock ugama masa pagi. Take
note that all matches will be
played in the afternoon starting
2.30 pm to 5.30pm. We start a
bit late to let sky shade a bit..
Ok, format of the cup.
15 MINS PER MATCH. 7 mins and
30 secs per half. NO HALF TIME!
Just switching of sides..
Rolling substitution but should a
team fields more than 5 players
e.g. a player comes on before
the substituted player steps
over the side line, the coming on
player will be given a yellow card.
A yellow card will remain on a
player for 2 matches and after
that he's clean. If he gets a red
card, he's suspended for a
match.
Game format: Round robin
followed by knockouts.
Here's the explanation: The cup
starts with every team playing
all teams. As usual, a win is
worth 3 points while a draw is
worth 1 point. The losing team
gets no point. Then after the
round is done, the highest four
teams is drawn into the semi-
finals. The winning teams will
battle it out for 1st and 2nd
place while the losing teams
battle it out for 3rd place..
Here's the catch, if a team has
not enough players, the absent
players can be substituted for
the match by two person only.
For example, let's say Ivalice Uno
only have 3 players, then any
two of the other teams can fill in
the empty spots. However, if
they have less than 3 players, it
will result in the team to be
"walked-over" which means its
an automatic win for the
opposing team.
A little side note, all names will
be written down so there will be
no cheating..
There will be no prize, only pride
which is sweeter than anything
in the football biz.
If you have a problem with this,
then why do you even wanna
play in it? No pain no gain, amigo!
About who'll be refereeing the
matches, we've worked it out
this way.. Let's say one team
from Ivalice and Silverines are
playing then the referee will be
from Fatalis. Just to be fair..
If Silverines and Fatalis are
playing, then one player from
Ivalice will become referee..
Get it? ok..
Once you're in it, no quitting.. If
you quit, then your team will
have to handle a ton of shame.

Match Report : 8B Silverines 3 - 4 Fatalis - Roberto blunders

Today the 8B Silverines started with a 4-1-2-1-2 formation proposed by Jason with Syakir , Zainul and Jason leading the attack. The Silverines started slowly , falling behind after Roberto failed to close down a 1 on 1 situation , but the Silverines were quick to equalise with Jason hitting a top corner shot from the right wing , after that , Fatalis managed to score another one before Najib equalised by a cross from Jason , but Fatalis once again broke through a under performing defence and Roberto again failed to deal with the attack and Fatalis scored 2 more to make the score 4-2. The Silverines pressed forward and Jason earned a free kick after being brought down by Amir. Malik hit a curling free kick that just missed the post. Jason then had a close range effort but Zainul of Fatalis made a good save and Najib blew a close range effort by hitting the crossbar, Malik managed to pull a late consolation goal with a thundering shot to the top corner. But it proved too little too late as Fatalis held on to win. Nice game fatalis and good try guys :D Oh and Amir Hamid our Drei Captain said the Silverines Drei beat team si Fadhlee masa PE , nice one ;P bh atu sja

8B Silverines 1 - 3 Fatalis

Today , the 8B Silverines unfortunately lost 3 -1 to Fatalis after a gruelling game , the 8B Silverines fell behind after a goal from Jonathan from 1 cm from the goal xD , then Azim scored another goal with 15 mins left , and with 10 mins left , the captain Jason pulled a goal back as he was fastest to react after Syakir hit the post with his effort. Unfortunately in the last few minutes , Azim put the game beyond doubt after the Silverines players were up front desperate to find an equaliser as our goalkeeper Roberto asked the Silverines to go dpan sja xD . Malik , Zainul , Syakir and Fik all came close to scoring but the Fatalis goalkeeper Zainul Ariffin was in top form today. Nice try guys , tomorrow we'll be up against Fatalis again on the football field so we'll put 110% tomorrow :D Congratulations fatalis , bh atu sja

Match Report : 8B Silverines 4 - 2 Fatalis

Today, the 8B Silverines ( plus najib xD ) were back in action masa PE against our usual opponents Fatalis. Despite the absence of the Silverines Golden Player Malik and striker Zainul , the 8B Silverines managed to win with a score of 4 - 2. Golden Boot Winner Syakir led the way with 2 fantastic goals followed by Najib with one goal and Jason put the game beyond doubt with another goal. Fatalis managed to pull 2 goals back with Azim scoring them both. Nice game Fatalis and great job Silverines! :D

Mohd Farhan bin Hj Amidon, one of the Ivalice FC member loaned himself to The Silverines FC for 1 year, as he said early this morning. For your information, the founder of The Silverines FC was Aslin, Najib and Farhan. Unluckily, Farhan joined Ivalice first before The Silverines established.

I don't know wheter Ivalice agreed or sebaliknya on loaning Farhan. Ia sendiri mau pasal saja-saja. Inda caya, tu ada arah cbox atu.

Today the 8B Silverines took on Fatalist once again except this time arah padang football. The goals were scored by Najib , Jason and Zainul. After some great defending by the Silverines , Roberto only had 1 shot to save with many shots flying towards Weevun in the Fatalist goal. Zainul led the way with 2 assists. Malik was close to making it 4 but the ball was inches from the goal. Nice game Fatalist and well played Silverines! ;D Oh and after voting , Syazmuie (TS#06) has been voted best goalkeeper of the Silverines with Roberto in second place. Congrats muie haha ;P

The Silverines earlier today striked a win against MS Villa with a score of 4 - 2. Silverines FC were leading 4-0 at the break after commanding strikes by Malik , twice by Syakir and Faiz but in the second half , MS Villa managed 2 consolation goals to make the score for them a lil less bad. :]

Silverines FC Restructuring.

After consideration , the Silverines FC have decided to split into 3 teams , Silverines Viends (One) , Silverines Deux ( Two) and Silverines Drei ( Three) . There is also a change in shirt numbers as we do not want numbers which are jauh jauh like 99 xD The new numbers are to be posted on the Silverines Member List. We have also signed a new player , Zulfan. His jersey will be number 12. The Silverines is also planning to get a new jersey which will be considered by team members.

TSFC News - Opening League

Hi there, this is just a brief announcement because I'm using my mobile phone. OK, today, after the meeting kuluk-kuluk, we decided to make/create our first and new league for The Silverines FC. Title-unknown, time-unknown(maybe after exam), venue-not sure, prize-aaah~. This league consists of 8 teams. So far we suggested TS L1, TS L2 ,TSL3, Fatalist, Blackout, the 3 Ivalices. It's more like a tournament based on ranking the top FC of year 8. (If you want to change the league name, time, venue and prizes tell us). By the way, you must be asking what is TS L1, L2 and L3 right? It's our secret. Nada wah. Jazz or Syakir will list it in a proper way. Ok, see you! -TS#6 who wanted to kick si Hjh Ketulahan!-

Hey hey , todays match against SMSH ended in a tight loss for the Silverines , the match finished 15-17 , despite the return of Syakir , who scored one , the Silverines lacked a real striker for the match. Jazz scored a double hat trick with 6 goals , Faiz had 3 or 4 i think , 1 for Saf and 3 for Haneef (SAS). A great match overall though.

To all Silverine players , the match against SMSH has been postponed to tuesday , 2-4pm i believe arah Padang Kebajikan. Please try to be there :)
